About The Event
Our music for this concert stretches from the 16th century through to today, featuring both very familiar and unfamiliar classical composers producing music on the theme of birds, including: Beach - A Hermit Thrush at Eve, Beethoven - Pastoral Symphony excerpt, Elgar - Owls, Haydn - Symphony 83 The Hen, McCartney - Blackbird, Sibelius - The Swan of Tuonela, Vaughan Williams - The Lark Ascending.
