After two years since their last live concert, Spires Music are proud to present a programme of delightful choral and orchestral music. Despite the challenges of the last two years, nature has been the saving grace for many of us, and this programme celebrates the changing of the seasons through a series of pieces for our singers and players. We are especially delighted to be performing Autumn and Winter from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, with Spires Orchestra Leader, Alistair Kennedy taking the solo spot alongside some rarely heard works by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Amy Beach. Other repertoire to include pieces by Holst, Brahms, Elgar and Handel.

Full repertoire:

Holst - St Paul's Suite

Coleridge-Taylor - Summer is gone

Vivaldi - Autumn from The Four Seasons

Brahms - Nänie

Beach - Peace on Earth

Elgar - The Snow

Delius - On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring

Handel - Worthy is the Lamb from The Messiah

Webster - An Irish Blessing

The Church respectfully asks that participants please:
